Virtual world, real learning: Jefferson Occupational Therapy graduate students in Second Life®

December 27, 2009 by admin · 1 Comment

First year graduate students in occupational therapy at the Jefferson School of Health Professions In Philadelphia discuss what they learned by contributing to the creation of an educational exhibit in Second Life.® The exhibit, the Adaptation Home, includes holodecks and scripts researched and created by students to demonstrate how people can adapt their home environments for low vision, cognitive, and mobility challenges.
